Direct, by name
We buy where each crop is at its best — Lakadong turmeric from the hills of Meghalaya, Mongra saffron from Kashmir, Sannam chillies from the red soils of Guntur. Single estates, GI appellations and cooperatives we can name.
Buying direct keeps the chain short and the provenance honest: we know the region, the grade and the season — and so do you, because it's on the pack.
Bought at origin
Direct from single estates, GI-protected regions and smallholder cooperatives — named, traceable, fairly sourced.
Steam-sterilised
Cleaned with steam, never irradiated — so the microbial load is safe without dulling aroma or colour.
Ethylene-oxide–free
No ETO fumigation — the recurring reason Indian spices are rejected at EU and US borders. We don't use it.
Lab-tested to limits
Every lot screened for aflatoxin, Sudan dyes, pesticide residue (MRLs) and heavy metals, to EU & US thresholds.
Nothing added
No synthetic colour, no fillers, no anti-caking agents, no flavourings — single-origin, exactly as graded.

Region, altitude, grade and a taste profile on every pack. You always know what you're cooking with.
