Alphonso Mango Pulp
Aam Ras
Velvet-smooth pulp pressed from fully ripened GI Alphonso (Hapus) from the Konkan coast of Ratnagiri and Devgad, and golden Kesar from Gujarat's Gir region. The fruit is washed, pulped, gently heat-treated and sealed in cans to lock in the fragrant, honeyed flavour of peak season. Pour into lassi and aamras, fold through ice cream and mousse, or bake into cakes and cheesecakes year-round.

Questions
- Is aam ras the same as mango pulp?
- Yes. Aam ras is the Indian name for mango pulp, the thick, smooth puree of ripe mango. Ours is pressed from GI Alphonso (Hapus) and Gir Kesar fruit.
- What is the difference between Alphonso and Kesar pulp?
- Alphonso from the Konkan coast is intensely fragrant with a rich, saffron-coloured flesh, while Gir Kesar is brighter and softer with a slightly tangy sweetness that pulps beautifully for drinks.
- Is the pulp sweetened?
- We offer both natural and lightly sweetened pulp; the added-sugar status is always declared on the label so you can pick the right version for your recipe.
